What is the life time of an LED?
If we opreated LED at different operating temperature with different forward current.Wat is the life span of it.
LED life times are dependent upon their designs. It is best to review the datasheets for any LEDs (or other electronic devices) that you use.
One LED has an expected life of 50,000 hours at 25°C ambient temperature. Changing the operating temperature can reduce its life.

LED Lighting
LED lighting has been fast emerging lately as the perfect solution to all the lighting needs. It has everything that you may look for in a lighting system – it is bright, consumes very little electricity and has a very long life. LED lighting is being used in next generation lighting that involves reducing the carbon emissions from lighting. This is due to the remarkable ability of LED lighting to provide high quality lighting with the least possible energy consumption. It is the most efficient lighting system yet, and therefore holds great promise for the future.
LED lighting offers a great amount of flexibility as well. You can get them in a variety of colours, sizes and shapes and you can always mix the output light you get from these. This means LED lighting can be customized for any lighting need. Also, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get the right mix of colours for your studio or your bedroom with costly materials because LED lighting has a solution for all that you may need.
LED lighting is also not as hot as fluorescent lights or ordinary incandescent light bulbs. While this may not bother you directly, it does have a profound effect on you. LED light is soft and gentle in nature, with a very minimal UV light. However, with the increase in temperature as it is with fluorescence lights, the amount of UV light increases. This can harm your skin and is also not the most soothing to your eyes. Therefore LED lighting is also a healthier option for you.
On the cost front, LED lighting not only saves you money with respect to the lower electricity consumption but also helps you to save money by having a really long life compared to all other types of lighting. Thus you don’t need to keep replacing your LED lights, and this also is a more convenient option for many people. The average life of LED lights is about 100,000 hours, which is really high. It needs to be replaced only in the next generation, in most cases!
