What is the BEST callibration for a LED-LCD TV? 40" 6000 Series?
PLEASE HELP... The problem im getting is that i payed well over 2,000 for a new tv and im not 100% satisfied with the picture and would like someone to help me callibrate it(maby im doing something wrong). its a 3M:1 Contrast ratio so it should have outstanding picture quality. Which is all i look for.
You have adjustments because your cables, and cable/sat/game box have different signals from mine.
You have to calibrate using test-patterns.
Get a Pixar DVD like UP, Cars, Wall-E, etc and go to the setup menu. They have test patterns for basic brightness, color and contrast.
A better disk is "Digital Video Essentials" for about $18 from Amazon.

Why cant an LED and a Motor be set up in series in a direct current circuit?
Im making a circuit for a school project and I wish to have an LED and a Motor in series. However when I connect them up only the led lights - the motor does nothing.
when you hook devices in series, the same current runs through each. an LED lights with about 10 ma of current. a small moters needs 100 ma to run and perhaps a bit more to start. These two devices are not matched for power needs so they will never work in series.
