the empty tins in queue waiting to be filled with kerosene....the shortage of the commodities....
water scarcity...queues at water taps...
power shortage....
hungry malnourished kids....child labour...
dirty streets...
beggars....
all tht we see in a satyajit ray's film..in black and white??
yep! ...the same situation..still prevails...and for foreigners that is india....
been seeing it since my childhood ( i am 40+ nw! )
and it pains to see that the scene is still the same in our country to this day...
the queues continue..the shortages continue..
no paani..no khana....
no current...no jobs...
poverty and dirt..sickness..unemployment..
will it change? when will it? can we do any thing abt it?
isn't it high time that we all try to do something about tht?

Because, in India there are several diversifications! Even the river water is not considered as Indian Water!! It is always the state-own-one!!

AND MANY SEGMENTAL DIFFERENCES!!
And, leaving these fragmentation, how come people can unite to gether by "some other noble cause"???
IN A TRAIN JOURNEY, IF YOU AND ME TO CONTINUE A "DEEP LEVEL FRIENDSHIP", THERE SHOULD BE A COMMON EMOTIONAL BINDING BETWEEN US, AND COMMON INTEREST TOO!!
Just like that, no one in India feels, that India is our Mother land and all Indians are my brothers and sisters!! We just shout slogans which is not in existance.
For example, In a group of 100 males going in a procession, no one shouts slogans, we are men, and we should always be men!! It is just ridiculous!! But, they may shout, we are like lions, we will never afraid to any authorities, this and that to conceal their fear of timidity and fear of police and lathi charges etc,.
So, whatever is being preached, could never be in existance or less in volume or negligible in reality!!
UNLESS WE FIND SOME WAYS AND MEANS, AND WE INDIAN FEEL THAT THIS IS OUR LAND, AND WE ALL ARE ONE, THE "SONS OF THE SOIL" THERE WILL BE NO OUTSTANDING PROGRESS POSSIBLE EVER!!
Until the time, may be, here some patch work, and there some touch-up work and with that we can shout "India is Growing", micron by micron, when all other nations are speeding up like light waves!!
