Flashlights - Fenix TK15 R5 or Jetbeam Jet III M R5?
Which torch would you recommend?
For price, light output and run-time they are roughly equivalent.
The Fenix has a tail-switch for on/off and a side-switch for mode selection. I have that configuration on my Olight Triton M30 and don't like it, it forces you to change your hand position or use two hands to fully operate the flashlight. The Jetbeam has a single tail switch (forward clicky), making it simple to use in an overhand dagger grip with your thumb on the tail switch.
Jetbeam does not include a cranulated ring or a lanyard. If you're planning on bopping people on the noggin, or just like the way it looks, you'll have to order the ring from Jetbeam, increasing the price. Lanyards can be found anywhere, but it's still a (minor) price issue.
