Athlon a plus but its only a single processor. You can get a dual processor for cheap now adays.
1 G of Ram is okay, but my sister just bought a laptop with 3G of Ram for only 600 dollar total price.
Graphics card pretty good.
USB slots are basic on all computers, most have at least 6-8
Dual disk drives a plus.
If the monitor is flat panel it is a plus.
Speakers, webcam, keyboard, and mouse do not raise the price very much.
I would say you are looking at 300 - 400 tops.
