I've inherited a strip joint, what should a good feminist do?
My dad was a hustler who made a living out of exploiting women both in his personal and professional life. He was abusive towards me and my mother. I am screwed up and deal with a lot of psychological issues mainly because of him. I didn't like him if I'm being honest. Wasn't devastated when he passed. He didn't help me out when I was growing up but he left me this along with other things. It does bring in good money. I spoke with some of the girls who work for me now, a couple of them are obviously on coke or something worse, a few do it to support their kids, and there two who told me their paying their way through college. I've thought about selling the place and not worrying about the moral dilemma it causes me. Then again, it's a good source of revenue. I've thought about contracting one of the girls who already pretty much manages the place, to run it for me. What's your advice?
If strip clubs there are anything like the ones here, they attract such family-friendly activities as:
drug dealing
gang violence
prostitution
drunken fights
murders
rapes
theft
I would turn it into something else. There are other things besides money to consider when you run a business.
