How to determine square footage for a rectangular room with a wall divider?
I had a room air conditioner in the living room window blowing through the house front to back. Determining square footage was easy.
Now I have to move the air conditioner to the back of the house in the dining rooom window. But there is a wall separating dining room from kitchen.
How do I determine square footage now considering I am going to buy a new air conditioner and need to determine the right BTU size in its new location.
You should be able to just measure the rooms separately.
