Anyone use the chalkboard paint?
We are getting ready to do our kids rooms since moving to military housing in germany and I was contemplating some of that chalkboard paint or magnetic paint for panels in their playroom. Has anyone used it before? Is it worth the money and time or is it just too tricky to get the proper application? I would appreciate anyone's knowledge on this. We're trying to find non-permanent ways to decorate and I'm coming up with some blanks so I'm hoping this idea will pan out.
My daughter and I just finished a project using chalk board paint. We did a side panel on her locker in her room. We sanded it enough to take the sheen off then applied a coat..allowed to dry overnight, then applied another coat. Works great! she uses it and her friends all sign/design on it when they come over. Easy, and it is available in all sorts of colours now. We used a roller to apply it.
