Congressmen have been doing it for years. So have Presidential candidates, Governors and Senators. For them, the choice was clear. The choice helped them run and win effective campaigns. They knew what it would take and went for it. If they get the chance to do it again, it is a clear bet that they will.
Large campaigns have discovered that polybag yard signs are the obvious choice for a political sign. The benefits of this sign, often called a bag sign, become clear for larger campaigns.
When pitted against the other main materials, poster board and corrugated plastic, the bag sign wins in a few major categories. Each material has its benefits, but here is why you should choose a polybag sign….
Round 1: Price
One major win is price. Due to the printing process of the bag signs, they become much more affordable at quantities over 1000. Polybag will overtake coroplast signs in cost per sign when you need greater exposure, as large campaigns do.

When ordering bag signs, you must make sure they are co-extruded. This means they are built with a black liner on the inside of the sign. This liner prevents sunlight from shining through the sign, making readability possible no matter what time of day and how much ink coverage in your design.

Polybag material is similar to a very heavy-duty garbage bag. This means that they can be rolled up or folded up and stuffed into a box. If you are sending out a bunch of volunteers to distribute yard signs, they can carry these signs around in a small box. They weigh only ounces each. They also assemble in seconds. Simply slip the bag, which acts like a sleeve, over the U-shaped wires. That’s it.
Round 4: Shipping Saver
A box of 100 coroplast or poster board signs weighs approximately 50 lbs. One box of 500 polybag signs weighs the same. Shipping costs, though unavoidable, can be a burdensome cost to campaigns. Polybag signs can reduce freight charges anywhere from 25%-50%. The money saved on freight can be used for better purposes.
