i need help with picking out lights for my saltwater fish tank?
i wanted to know if it is ok to put 2 Coralife Mini Compact Fluorescent 50/50 Bulb they are 10 watt each but they have an out put of an 50 watt each so it would be 100 watt would they be good enought for my 14 gallon tank and ps i wanted to put hardy corals in there like mushroom or recordia or somthing like that

as far as your out put Vs the low demand of the coral you mentioned, id say your fine,
but back to the first part maKe sure the color is what you like, its all about personal preference, and i personally don't like the purplish tint that 50/50s put out, my tastes are for a crisp white light to make sure all natural color comes out with actinics to make the fluorescents really pop
