Guinness Harp

Help! Homework In Philosophy?
There are four men and each of them prefers a particular kind of British beer. Your job is to figure out the first and last name of each of them and what kind of beer they prefer. Here are the facts:
a. The four beers are Harp, Guinness, Adnans, and Bass
b. The four last names are Harrison , Hardy, Littlewood, and Russell
c. The four first names are Earnest, Godfrey, John, and Bertie
d. The four men are uniquely identified as the Bass drinker, Mr. Hardy, and the two who don't drink Adnans: John and Mr. Russell
e. Neither Bertie nor Mr. Harrison (who is Godfrey's friend) drink Harp
f. Bertie (who is Mr. Hardy's neighbor) doesn't drink Bass
EDIT: I made a mistake in my first go of this, using the same last name on two of the characters. This is how it should go:
John drinks Harp or Guinness.
Bertie (isn't Mr. Hardy or Mr. Harrison) drinks Guinness or Adnans.
Godfrey drinks Harp, Guinness, Adnans or Bass.
Earnest drinks Harp, Guinness, Adnans or Bass.
Mr. Harrison (isn't Godfrey or Bertie) drinks Guinness, Adnans or Bass.
Mr. Russell (isn't John) drinks Harp or Guinness.
Mr. Hardy (isn't John or Bertie) drinks Harp or Guinness.
Mr. Littlewood drinks Harp, Guinness, Adnans or Bass.
John is Mr. Harrison or Mr. Littlewood.
Bertie is Mr. Littlewood or Mr. Russell.
Godfrey is Mr. Hardy, Mr. Littlewood or Mr. Russell.
Earnest is Mr. Harrison, Mr. Hardy, Mr. Littlewood or Mr. Russell.
If John was Mr. Littlewood, then Bertie would have to be Mr. Russell, Godfrey would be Mr. Hardy and Earnest would be Mr. Harrison. John would have to drink Harp since Bertie would have to drink Guinness (the only drink Bertie and Mr. Russell have in common). That leaves only Adnans and Bass as drinks. Since Mr. Hardy drinks neither of these, then it won't work this way. Therefore John can't be Mr. Littlewood, leaving the only other choice as John being Mr. Harrison.
If John is Mr. Harrison, then he has to drink Guinness as this is the only drink they have in common. That leaves Guinness taken, so Bertie has to be Mr. Littlewood since he and Mr. Russell would then have no drinks in common. That also leaves Bertie drinking Adnans. That leaves only Mr. Russell and Mr. Hardy, neither of whom drink Bass. Since Bass is one of the two beers left, then this doesn't work either.
There is no solution to the problem then with the parameters as stated.
