Physics : why does red glass look red when light comes through it? and why does green paper look green?
A red coloured subsctance looks red coloured because it reflects only red colour and absorbs the remaining colours. Ans so is the case with green colour.
If all colours are reflected the object appears white.
If all are absorbed, the object appears black.
