Game Bar Light
How well does Verizon Wireless broadband work?
I live in the country and my only options for internet are Verizon wireless broadband or Hughes net satellite internet. I'm leaning toward Verizon right now. I get decent Verizon cell phone reception (2 bars inside) and I'm usually a pretty light user, no gaming or music downloading but I do stream video. I was wondering if anyone could give me comments on either of these options.
Verizon works, but make sure you are in 3g coverage, if your not, it will not work well. Although you likely are in coverage.
The speed is from what I have seen usually over 1 mbit, which is better than dial-up. However the usage cap is 5GB per month, so like you said, you have to use it lightly, and use video very lightly. Other than that, people seem to like it compared to satellite internet, and definitely compared to dial-up.
This is just what I have observed from reading reviews, and people comments.
