Fresh Baked Cookies
i have a dozen fresh baked cookies can i hand carrie them on an airplane?
I purchased 12 cookies from a cookie store to take back home on an airplane. After I purchased the cookies my aunt said i couldn't hand carrie them (which i have done several times before) anymore they have to be packed in a suitcase. I have a med sack like bag i will put them in do you know if that will work. She said no food carried on unless bought after you clear check point. Can someone help me on this matter i hate to leave them behind.
TSA's list of items you CAN'T carry on (but you CAN pack in checked luggage):
Aerosol spray bottles and cans
All creams and lotions including Neosporin or first-aid creams and ointments, topical or rash creams and ointments, suntan lotions, moisturizers, etc.
Bubble bath balls, bath oils or moisturizers
Bug and mosquito sprays and repellents
Deodorants made of gel or aerosol
Eye drops -- volumes greater than 4 ounces are only permitted in your checked baggage. You are allowed to carry up to 4 ounces of eye drops with you.
Hair styling gels and spray of all kinds including aerosol
Hair straightener or detangler
Knives -- except for plastic or round-bladed butter knives
Lip gels such as Carmex or Blistex
Liquid lip glosses or other liquids for lips. (Note: lipstick should be okay -- but don't take anything you can't risk discarding at the security check.)
Liquid bubble bath including gel

Liquid, gel, or spray perfumes and colognes
Liquid sanitizers
Liquid soaps
Liquid mascara
Makeup removers or facial cleansers
Mouthwash
Nail polish and removers
Saline solution -- you are allowed to carry up to 4 ounces of eye drops with you. Volumes greater than 4 ounces are only permitted in your checked baggage.
