Freeze Alert
Having Zone AlarmExtreme Security on my computer I received suddenly alert from Windows Sec. Center!?
about 42 viruses on my computer!It ask me to buy licence for 79.95$ in order to remove them.I filled in order with credit card #,address ,ph. # and e-mail .But screen got frozen! So I reboot computer in Safe Mode and with selecting Windows Started Normally and problem disappeared! Was a trick? Am secure after giving all my information? What should I do?
Same thing happened to me.
After you run your Malwarebytes scan and delete the items found, you have to do a System Restore.
You MUST do a system restore because Malwarebytes won't get rid of it by itself.
Pick a restore date that is a few days before this happened.
Immediately after the restore, run Malwarebytes again to let it pick up what is left of the virus.
Periodically, run Malwarebytes to make sure it stays away!
