Flower Lamps Blow
Flower Lamps Blow
What do you think of my poetry?

The wind was blowing, the air moist and cold,
in the place where I strolled,
the ground felt damp,
but as warm as a lamp,
it was as if it had heaved as I felt it,
had it been bit?
I walked on curious of what was happening to earth,
was it giving birth?
No,it can't be,
earth was for all to see,
earth was changing,
and also ranging,
Since I was told,
where I strolled,
was where Spring was coming,
I thought of flowers blossoming, while humming,
Spring is coming.

I like your poetry.. it seems to be telling a story.. I can actually relate to it.. good job..

How can I know if I have too many nick nacks (more)?

I consider myself clean and neat, but one time my aunt came over and she was in total shock, she said she had no idea i was the type of person to have so much nick nacks and that I was messy when I have had a reputation of being really neat (like I offer to do dishes and clean at her house all the time). This was a blow.

It's been a few years since then, and I am looking around, too lazy to dust because I guess I have a lot of stuff, but figure it's not more than the average person. Little candles, pictures, momentos, vase, lamp decoration, decor box, stuffed animals, candle holders, tissue box, flowers, etc.

I go to some people's house and they have absolutely nothing displayed, which does I admit make the place look really neat and organized. How can I part with my things and how can I know for sure if I have too much?

I feel your pain! My boyfriend thinks I'm ridiculous b/c I have so many odds & ends that I like out on display...but they're all things I like and want out! What I have done to please him ...but still please myself is to rotate my decor. I put about 1/3 of my stuff that was out, in the closet ...and re-organized all the remaining decor...spaced it out a bit, it did look more organized. Then every once in a while i'll switch a few things, with some of the things in the closet etc.. I actually like doing it b/c it's like mini-redecorating. haha Good luck!
