Does anyone know the approximate building costs of a commercial block building per square foot? Economy basic.
I need an estimate of building costs for a basic block commercial building- very basic. Cement floor, about 2000 square feet, one small bathroom, drywalled with insulation, about a 12 foot ceiling with a drop suspended ceiling with flourecent lighting, 2 basic entrance doors, one 5 foot window, tile floor. Approx. price per square foot would help. I am in Canada- let me know if this is U.S. or Canada pricing. Please help as I need to decide to build or not.
Also, any idea on grading and paving costs of a parking lot that is now just gravel and grass? The lot would be about 3000 square feet? How wide and long must the parking spots be? Thank you.
I believe that for a commercial building, the construction costs will range between $65 and $85 Canadian a sq. foot. The average residential building is about $ 100 a sq. ft. Cdn.
