While in the process for legalization I left the country, what happens if I try to go back as a tourist?
I wasn't expecting the process to be so quick and since I was underage, my family decided to leave the country and so did I. Now my father, who is a legal resident, has been receiving a few letters which I am supposed to sign and pay.
I have a valid tourist visa and was wondering what would happen if I tried to go back to visit him and sign the forms, taking into consideration that I overstayed when I went there the first time and that I am on the process of legalization.
Should I wait in my home country and take the next steps from here even though it might take a long time or try to go as a tourist?
The forms I have received are the PAOSF I-130, DS-3032 choice of address and agent, of support processing bill invoice.

It would be very unwise for you to attempt entry to the U.S. for a number of reasons.
First of all, if you overstayed the last time you entered, the tourist visa you have now was automatically void starting on the date that your authorized stay expired. So, you would need a new tourist visa "to visit" your father.
Secondly, your attempt to become a permanent resident eliminated you from the category of people considered to be bona file visitors for pleasure. Your intent is to live in the U.S., and a visitor needs to intend to live outside the U.S.
Thirdly, you would be an easy case to turn around. You'd fly all the way to the U.S. only to be put back on the next plane to where your trip began. That's a lot of flying plus it would damage your application for an immigrant visa. The visa officer would want a full report of what happened at the port of entry where you were refused admission, and it might take a long time for CBP to deliver a report to the visa office.
Your father can FedEx to you whatever forms that you need to sign. You don't need to be in the U.S. to sign them. Staying away from U.S. soil and pursuing the immigrant visa in your home country is the safest strategy to follow.
