Fake PArty Beer
I just don't like beer!?
My friends say that I should get used to beer and stuff, since were going off to college already, but I just don't like the stuff!
Maybe its because I've heard so many times how people get drunk, and that others get hurt and even die because somebody was drunk.
And its bad for your liver!
Not only that, it always tastes awful to me.

Do you think i'll be left out or out of place if I don't even drink beer?
Or can someone just tell me how to fake it (ie. pretend that I drink beer, give reasons on why I can't drink beer with them at parties...) so that I won't be made fun of?
Can I really avoid beer (and maybe other alcoholic drinks)?
You would be surprised how many people find drinking repulsive! (Yes, even in college!!) Make friends who can find better things to do then getting wasted and spend the night hugging the toliet. If by chance you do end up at a party and don't want to drink you have two options: A. Be straightforward with people. You'd be surprised that many people don't think it's a big deal that you don't drink. Or B. Keep a beer in your hand. Go to the bathroom every once in a while and pour some out. No one is going to notice. Half of them will be too smashed to realize small things like that. I'd go for option A though. Honestly it's not a big deal. I drink and have for quite some time. I have never (nor has anyone I've ever known) put someone down and made them feel weird for not drinking. I actually have more respect for people who can say no! Relax and don't stress it. Enjoy college and all the opportunities it brings!

The festival's Artistic Director, Jean Tait, tiffany cufflinkscufflinks this week that the slate of films includes the world premiere of Holes in My Shoes, a 90-minute feature documentary about Connecticut resident Jack Beers.
Beers is almost 100 years old, and the film takes viewers back to his poverty-stricken Lower East Side boyhood as "New York City's Strongest Boy" performing to packed audiences, to the present time where he's now riding a stationary bike 3 miles per day, driving, pruning trees, performing feats of strength, and more.
"Holes in My Shoes is a magical film by David Wachs, and audiences will absolutely fall in love with its subject," said Tait. "The fact that he's almost 100 is an accomplishment in itself, yet the way he has done it is so colorful and amazing — from his strongman days, to working as an ironworker who erected the famous Radio City Music Hall marquee, to specifically helping to shorten World War II at the Manhattan Project, to erecting the famous Empire State Building spire."
