Extra Mexican Beer
Is there a premium Mexican beer available in the Midwest?

Negra Modelo comes the closest with a 26% at ratebeer.com and a B- on beeradvocate.com. But is there one that rates in the 70's or higher? How about a B+ or even an A-?

And please don't try to tell me Corona Extra... it is a 3%/D- for the love of gawd and that is up from the 1% it had last time I looked.

You haven't heard Tacte because it is a 4%/C-

I don't want a rice beer. I want something with malt and hops.
Sol = 5%/D-

And yes there are premium Mexican beers... Michael Jackson has written about them. There was Casta from Especialidades Cerveceras but they went out of business.
Oh, and ecleeze... Real beer comes from Belgium.

There are beers available from some of the Mexican "Craft Breweries," but we can't get any here in the midwest.
If you're hung up on Mexican beers, Negra Modelo is the best we can get for now, although by style, it is technically a Vienna-style Lager.

Can you build a house using this type of labor?

Say, I want to build a house made of brick. But I don't want to pay for expensive labor. There's no Mexicans up in Toronto. I can have my father supervise the construction.

Why can't I post an ad in some local university - 'volunteers needed, good pay, free beer'. Set them a gazebo for shade and beer. Pay them 5c. for every laid brick. It's not rocket science, when my parents where young students would always make extra couple bucks working on construction sites.

Why not?
