European Toby
Have you driven an American Car recently or do you drive one already?
My son got into an accident recently and struck a Deer. He is fine, thankfully.
So, we are going through the repair process and driving a rental - a Chevy Malibu and I don't mind saying that it is quite a nice car! Comfortable, rides nice, well equipped, good on gas... I think Chevy did a great job, even the styling is somewhat European!
Ford also has some nice looking cars. Maybe the American Automobile industry is not dead yet!
What do you think? Is there still some hope for the American Ride? Or is the "fits gonna hit the shan"?

I have driven a Ford Falcon, T-bird, Owned me a 1967 Mustang, 87 mustang, Ford Bronco II, BMW 1503, BMW 520, Chevy Van, Opel Frontera and currently drive a Ford F150.
The two BMW's were fantastic car and were made for Europe where the engine could run the speeds they were meant for. The Opel is one that I would never drive again if my life depended on it!
The American cars were built to last and I enjoyed everyone of them, my current vehicle F150 is a fantastic truck. It has given me my moneys worth and still on the road with no problems in it's 14 years of use.
There has always been hope for the big three, the problem was not in the ride really but the price. The foreign automakers could actually produce cheaper quality cars. It was the great prices I believe that was the undoing of the big three.
I also believe that the last several years were a major problem and down fall of the big three because of the world movement to help the prevention of climate changes. Calling for greener cars!

Do they have a chance, Yes I think they do especially if they can come out with better prices than the imports. That along with greener cars most definately, I think they just had a great wake up call!

Why do Caucasian Americans, like to dishonor our names?
If our names, sound non-European, you insult us., even if it is Jewish or Irish, but unfamiliar to them. They named Kunta Kente, Toby, now they want to name Barack, (a Jewish name) to Barry. But it's only Black Americans, that they fill they need to change our names. They don't rename Asian Americans, or Hispanic Americans, only Black American's. This is the epitome of arrogance, how insulting! What is that all about?
Ignorance. People like them are just stupid. You know what. They listen to SHOCK JOCK RADIO AND CONSERVATIVE NEWS. These people are racist!!!! These people are the lowest of the low. They aren't worth the dirt on the bottom of your shoe. I believe these people have hate in their heart and love division in the different races. I notice on here a lot of Asians having these racist attitudes too. People who have low IQs tend to be more racist.
