What would be the two sides of a drunk driving persuasive speech?

i have to do a 7 to 10 min persuasive speech that must relate to high school students my topic is drunk driving but i'm not sure what the two sides should be. i could persuade to change the law but i don't know to go about that. any help would be great!

Well, the first side seems pretty easy -- the one against drunk driving. Obviously, you get kinda outta your mind when you're drunk, you could crash, kill lots of people, disobede road laws, all that sort of pretty basic sort of stuff. That side should be quite easy to argue. However, the other side, I'm kinda confused about. Personally, I think that drink driving is just stupid, and I can't really see another side to the arguement, although I guess you could argue that if one of your family members is seriously sick and needs to be driven to hospital.....

Hope this helps! :)

Dangers of Energy Drinks

Energy Drinks

We see them advertised all over the place. These are also freely available anywhere; from the food stores to your local supermarkets. The energy drinks also claim some absurd claims which become pretty hard to believe, at times. The fact of the matter is not every energy drink is the same.

What are energy drinks?

Energy drinks are beverages like Red Bull, Venom, Adrenaline Rush, 180, ISO Sprint, and Whoopass, which contain large doses of caffeine and other legal stimulants like ephedrine, guarana, and ginseng. Energy drinks may contain as much as 80 mg of caffeine, the equivalent of a cup of coffee. Compared to the 37 mg. of caffeine in a Mountain Dew, or the 23 mg. in a Coca-Cola Classic, that's a big punch.

The Health Dangers of Energy Drinks

Nu-Train comments: In 1997, with the introduction of Red Bull, energy drinks began as a significant category in the US market. Since then, the market has grown by 50% almost yearly, and the energy drink market now totals more than four billion dollars. Clearly, this indicates that many Americans are consuming these caffeine laden trendy beverages, but are they really that good for us.

Energy Drink Dangers

There are many different trends for food and entertainment that we have seen over the years. Some trends prove timeless, like champagne at New Year’s Eve, whereas some are gone as quickly as they began. A current trend gaining popularity is energy drinks. These highly caffeinated, sugary sweet drinks are everywhere, from the stores to TV shows to the bars and they are very popular on many college campuses.

The Dangers of Energy Drinks

These drinks, when used in moderation, are relatively safe. However, when they are consumed over a prolonged period of time, high levels of certain ingredients that build up in the body over time can have major effects on the body. Some of these effects last long-term.

The ads are exciting. The names are enticing. Red Bull. Adrenaline Rush. Whoopass. They are part of an ever-growing list of popular energy drinks marketed to the under thirties crowd, a market that used to belong to soft drink companies like Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

Dangers Of Metabolism Boosters

The main purpose of metabolism boosting substances is to assist body when exercising. They are there to accelerate calorie burning process. There is a common misperception that metabolism boosters can replace the role of physical activity in loosing weight. Fault for this belief lies partly by online diet marketers. Last 5 years are known as “diet spamming” period.

The truth is, not all energy drinks are the same. While many of the ingredients are common among them, each energy drink has its own little twist to it. And reading the labels of these drinks isn't going to help the average consumer much if they don't know what to look for

Energy drinks with booze

Alcohol can be twice as dangerous when mixed with an energy drink, according to a new study published two weeks ago by Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Super-caffeinated energy drinks, with names like Red Bull, Monster,

Full Throttle and Amp, have surged in popularity in the past decade.

About a third of 12- to 24-year-olds say they regularly down energy

drinks, which account for more than $3 billion in annual sales in the

United States.
