Door Sign Open
Continous alarm-like sound (similar to the open door indicator noise) for my car?
There is a continous alarm-like sound (similar to the open door indicator noise) going off on my 2000 Honda CRV. This continues even when the car is off. Does anyone know 1) what could cause, 2) options/cost to address, 3) if could be sign of dangerous/serious issue and 4) likelihood that the battery will drain?

It will drain the battery. It may be the switch that's in the door jamb that's not functioning properly, especially if the dome (overhead) lights are still on.
