LMAO, I needed that laugh. ( especially about the rock lobster leaving its tank at Red Lobster,ha) But you've brought up a really good point about genetically engineered food. A few years ago, I was in the produce section, choosing some apples. Innocent, right? I mean, what could they possibly DO to change a basic apple? I thought about this, and since the produce guy was right there, I asked him jokingly if the fruit was genetically engineered. And he started laughing, and he said, "Miss, there's pretty much no such thing as a *real* apple anymore- they're all spliced now with different varieties of apples, to make them more delicious." I was sort of surprised, and he took out a pocket knife and sliced a bit out of an apple (I can't remember what type it was) and he offered it to me to try. It was good, I admit, but, WHERE are we really going with all of this? Good post.
