Dipstick Meter
Where is the oil dipstick located on a 2005 dodge stratus?
My oil light is turning on but only when I'm stopped and idle. I think it may be that the oil is low so I tried to check it and found only 2 dipsticks, one towards the back of the engine, but it didn't have a meter that told me if it was high/low.
The other dipstick had a meter that read temperature from Hot to Cold.
I'm assuming the one near the rear which says "engine" on it is the oil one but why doesn't it have a meter?
Oh and this all started happening a week after I got my oil changed at Jiffy Lube! They suck...
its the one marked engine on that one,and it should have a reading on the end of it ,look in the owners manual and see what it says about it,all the ones i have seen are marked with a shaded area and you run it in that area and it also has a full mark on it,you need to check and make sure they filled it it all the way up,because the oil light shouldn't be coming on like that,especially after an oil change,good luck .
