Installing Sims 2 Double Deluxe?
I've just bought the above game and the disc won't load on my computer. I've noticed that there have been a few people online who have had this problem and i have tried all the solutions by trying to open the game in 'my computer' and using 'run' etc but no joy. I've been over my system requirements and its a new computer and i have more than required. I've changed the discs by taking them back to 'GAME' but only after but they looked at me like i was up to something and made me feel like i was something they had stood in, then making a few phone calls to head office lol. Most maddening thing is i have all the sims 2 games, but i have managed lose one of the discs to the original sims 2 therefore went out and bought this deluxe version because a lot of places no longer sell sims 2 only. I would be very grateful for some advice on how to install the game or how can I get my money back without too much fuss. Thank you!
do you have a DVD drive? Double Deluxe only comes on DVD disks which cannot be read by CD-rom drives, only by DVD drives.
