Retro Bowling Shirts Stage a Huge Comeback to the Fashion World
Retro bowling shirts are inspired by the 1950’s cool and fun atmosphere. The 50’s fashion consisted of comfortable clothing that had personality and reflected the high energy of the time. Today, all we have to do is turn on our computer or TV and we are bombarded with news and television shows that tell us about the lives of our favorite celebrities. Along with this is also all the tips and subliminal messages of standards being set about what fashionable clothing is suppose to look like. If you are a “fashionista” as I like to call it, that follows the latest trends then you might have noticed that vintage style is definitely back. With this, the retro styled shirts have been becoming increasingly popular. It has been made even more popular these days by actors on TV where shows such as the Sopranos feature the actors in street wear similar to the retro style bowling shirts. Charlie Sheen is an example of how popular the style has become as he is always seen in a bowling shirt on his show, Two and a Half Men; leaving no doubt that popular culture greatly impacts the way people dress and behave.
With the growing technology, everything and everyone is becoming more connected and even long distances are no longer a barrier. With this also comes the loss of some individuality and this is sometimes where fashion can be an artistic outlet.
