Crabs Beer

Do you boil your live crabs?
There is a debate going on between my friends and i. boiled or steamed crabs. I perfer to boil my crabs in beer with old bay. how do you prepare your crabs
Get the water rolling, add Old Bay then drop in the crabs (or shrimp, or crawdads, or what-ever-the-hell you managed to come up with for supper) being careful to NOT over cook them (that's what makes them mushy)

CRAB vs. BEER?! Drinking games man vs. nature.
What's Good About Good Ideas?
Research published in the Annual Reviews of Nutrition provided good ideas on weight control. For example, eating from a plate which is 2 inches smaller reduces calories 22% per meal. Because too much light stimulates appetite by increasing stress and too little light reduces inhibitions, use only 240 watts of light when eating. Because people prepare 23% more food when cooking from supersized containers, divide the contents into individual portions. Because just seeing tempting food releases dopamine, the brain's feel-good chemical that intensifies cravings, put tempting foods out of sight. Obviously, problems "lie in weight" in kitchens.
A blood center in Tacoma, Washington developed a good idea for getting blood donors. Although 37% of the population is qualified to donate blood, only 5% does. Because the blood center needs 150 donors a day to cover its needs, its bloodmobile goes to local pubs and offers a pint of beer for a pint of blood. Although you have to be at least 21 and wait 4 hours after the blood drive ends to redeem the beer coupon, there's an average of 15 donors per pub - enough to expand the program and expand the number of people drinking to other peoples' health.
The shell of the Crysomallon squamiferum snail, a deep-water snail in the Indian Ocean, has provided scientists with a good idea for improving military body armor. The calcium carbonate shell, its soft organic layers and its extra layer or iron make it trilayered. The shell itself is constructed in waves that prevent the toxic hypodermic needle of cone snails from penetrating. The force of crabs' claws is dissipated over tiny cracks in the shell that don't turn into life-threatening breaks. The impact-absorbing trilayer makeup (hard-soft-hard) geometrically amplifies the shell's mechanical properties, making this shell an appropriate prototype for stopping shellfire.
Finally, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries developed a good idea for controlling Asian carp. Asian carp were introduced to the U.S. in the 1970's to help manage aquaculture ponds and wastewater lagoons. The carp quickly escaped, multiplied and became a problem for boaters because Asian carp can weigh 30 pounds and can jump out of the water. Instead of poisoning the carp, a joint venture was formed between a processor, a distributor and a supermarket chain. The fish will be marketed as "silverfin" and supposedly tastes like a cross between crab and scallop - not like chicken.
