Corona Beer Bar Can someone recommend a VERY non-bitter beer?
I have never been a big beer drinker but I am trying to be more social and meet new people. Since it seems that many young people are hanging out in bars/clubs, I was hoping that someone here could recommend to me a VERY non-bitter beer.
I've tried Bud, Corona, etc, and even today sipped some Honey Blue Moon on a suggestion that it may be more of what I was looking for. Even the Blue Moon reminded me of a Budweiser. It still had that bitter taste that I simply cannot stand.
There is a BevMo very close to my house and I was hoping someone could offer me a few suggestions. I'm not necessarily looking for a fruity tasting beer, just something that won't make me gag.
I hope someone can relate to this and recommend a brand I can try. Thanks in advance!
there are very few non-bitter beer
the bitterness is from the hops, which is a standard component to most beer
if you want something ready to drink and not a cocktail your only options:
wheat beer, very low hops content (course thats blue moon, and you have tried that)
bock & amber beers, somewhat low hops content
frut flavored beers, which have had frut & sweeners added
cider, which is made from fruit (usually apples) and has no hops
alcopops (Mike's Hard, Smirnoff Ice, etc) which have no bitterness at all
