what is a contoured index finger channel?

It says that the following glove is made with mesh in it? i dont see any in the pic of the glove, it looks like it is made of just regular leather.

I'm assuming a contoured index finger is a slightly curved finger for a more comfortable grip.
The ideal fit system is the fact that it is open back. This means it's not adjustable but allows you to open your hand further than a close back glove (Which are adjustable).
I don't see where in the description of the second glove it says it has a "mesh" in it. However it seems that the section between your thumb and forefinger may be made of a "mesh" (though it's not obvious in the picture).
