Colombian shark question??

I have two columbian shark catfish (babies ~ 2 inches) in a 30 gallon tank right now, and I do realize they will need a larger one in the future and that they need brackish water. There is also a pleko, a bunch of plants, java moss, a cave and good filtration. The tank is ~ 26 degrees celcius. Just today I took back six green tiger barbs that shared the tank with them after I noticed the shark's fins were being nipped at.

My question is why do they sit together in one coner in between the glass and a plant? The never swim around much, only when I feed them (flake food, blood worms, tube worms). Is there something wrong with them or are they more of a nocturnal fish?

they are a nocturnal fish i would also start adding salt to the water slowly and take the pleck out of there as he wont like salt at all

This satiric novel tells the story of Titus, a teenage boy living in a futuristic society where most people are controlled by a vast computer network which they connect to via electronic feeds in their heads. Titus is perfectly happy with his world, a world where his every need and want is suggested and met by his feed. But then he meets Violet who, although she too is hooked up to a feed, is nonetheless a free thinker who awakens him to the dangers of living in a computer-controlled society. Nominated for the 2002 National Book Award in the young people's literature category. Named one of the Best Children's Books 2002 by Publishers Weekly. A New York Times Notable Book for 2002.

Adult Corn Snake wont eat...people with herp knowledge only! read description for more details?

i bought a adult corn snake about 2 weeks ago, he was fed pre-killed rodents before i got him, i tried to feed him a frozen thawed rat, live mouse and today a fresh killed mouse. I've tried to put it outside his hide, cut the brain so he can smell it better, shake the mouse with tongs to simulate live and nothing worked, any other tips.

i have 2 corn snakes, a ball python, and a columbian red tail, so Im not a beginner just want to know any ideas cause I've never dealt with a problem feeder before.

Not to worry. My corns sometimes stop feeding for a few months at a time & then start again like nothing happened. Just check your temps., keep fresh water available & offer food about once a week till he decides to stop torturing you & eat again.
