Ideas for my Hawaiian Party?
Im having a hawaiian party for my 21st. So far i have a ticki bar, table center pieces that are glass that i will have goldfish in, big cardboard parrots to hang from the veranda roof, lais to give to people when they arrive, a blow up pool & palm trees, a pinyata, im making cocktails, lanterns and bright table clothes and cutlery.
Any other Hawaiian ideas?
I had a luau/ Hawaiian Party once...I did some of the same things but also:
I dressed up the food tables with grass skirts around the edges.
Pina Coladas and Margaritas- keep them coming!
I had bouquets of silk hibiscus, tiger Lilly's, Calla Lilly's, and gerber daises too keep the rooms colorful.
Tiki torches outside and inside....some party stores sell the torches that are smaller that sit on the table so we got a few.
Coconut cups that your guests can keep and drink out of...I had labels and colorful sharpies that the guests could write their name on and slap on the coconut cup.
Umbrella straws!
Fresh Fruit Kabobs- Strawberries, Pineapple, Mandarin oranges, balled honey due, blueberries all on a long tooth pick.
Coconut bras for you and some of your closest girlfriends.
Make sure all of your friends dress the part- it makes the party more fun.
I also had a cd a friend made me but she just downloaded the music off of limewire and Itunes, it was all reggee dance music...so it sounded tropical but it had a beat you could dance too...if you don't want dancing just play some classic Bob Marley.

A Tourists Guide to Holidays in Tenerife
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and is often referred to as the ‘island of eternal spring’. Since the 1890’s people have flocked to Tenerife, not because it offers cheap holidays and the warm climate, but because Tenerife is truly the island that has something for everyone. It is an island of natural contrasts that offers something different ever time you go, be it the greenery of the north or the aridness of the south, golden beaches or black. Once you holiday in Tenerife you will want to return again and again!

What You Can Do in Tenerife
One of the hallmarks of a good holiday in Tenerife is finding a good beach and Tenerife has good beaches in abundance. The south-east of the island has gorgeous beaches, rife with golden sand, where you can simply lie back and enjoy the sound of the waves and the warm sun. The Teresitas beach on the north of the island is well worth a visit. It has imported Saharan sand, palm trees and well-placed beach barswhere you can sit back and enjoy in a cocktail whilst soaking up the tropical atmosphere of the place.
However, Tenerife also features many black volcanic beaches, the best of which can be found on the east coast. Each of the black beaches have a startling beauty about them and an almost otherworldly quality making them unforgettable.
Aside from the beaches, the foremost attraction of holidaying in Tenerife has to be Mount Teide which is the highest mountain in all of Spain. Standing a massive 3718metres above sea-level, Tiede is a dormant volcano which unbelievably, stands in the crater of an even larger and also extinct volcano. Surrounding Mount Tiede is the Las Cañadas National Park, a place of staggering natural beauty where the breathtaking view of a forest of pine trees gently melts into the volcanic landscape. Going to Tenerife and not visiting Las Cañadas is like going to Egypt and missing out on the pyramids!
For a relatively cheap place to have the time of your life, then look no further then Loro Pargue. With over 300 species of parrots, it also holds gorillas, tigers, tortoises, alligators, spectacular gardens and lots more. Its relatively new attraction and undoubtedly a show stopper “Planet Penguin” features 12 tons of snow which falls each day to reproduce the Arctic climate, so you can watch the penguins frolic in their natural habitat, an experience which defiantly stays with you.
On the west coast of the island is Los Gigantes. The main attraction of a holiday in Los Gigantes is the Los Gigantes cliffs which stand at a height of around 800metres. From the marina in Los Gigantes you can take boat trips so you can truly grasp the immensity of the cliffs which tower over the horizon.
If that’s still not enough Tenerife still has a lot more to offer with water sports and waterparks, catamaran trips to view the magnificent whales and dolphins, spectacular night-life, rustic tapas bars that offer traditional Spanish food, and of course, shopping! The Low taxes make this one of the more pleasurable pastimes, where you can pick up last minute presents and fantastic deals.
