i own a 2001 mecury mountianeer and door ajar light keeps comming on when all the doors are closed whats wrong?
i own a 2001 Mercury mountaineer and the door ajar light keeps coming on. and all the interior lights stay on when all the doors are closed. but if open and re shut the back hatch, and keep doing it until the go out the lights go off. what could be wrong?
the light actuator inside the door has failed, you will need to test all doors , but we find that most of the time its the drivers door tat has failed, you will need to remove the inner door panel to gain access to this switch
