Is iridium coating/ tint for sunglass lenses a mirror or chrome looking finish?
like they have black iridium, blue iridium, green iridium, grey/slate iridium tints and so on for the lens, but Im trying to get lens that give off a reflective look like chrome or mirror and they dont have those options, it just say iridium then whatever color, does iridium give off a mirror or chrome look, fyi- they are for oakley gascans
Previous poster hit it on the head. The Iridium coating is just that. a lens Coating. The tint is usually a different color. The iridium coating provides the relfected "color" of the lens when others look at you when you wear it.
There is a "chrome" iridium, but that is only available for a few select models of glasses.
Oakley's most relfective tint and closest to mirrors is Black Iridium. Since the lens is also the darkest TINT that Oakely has, it will help people to not see your eyes, as well.
