Good news to Robert Gates ,he Won in the tour's season-opening Michael Hill New Zealand Open in Queenstown, NZ, on Sunday.

The towering, 6ft 6in former Texas A&M golfer who played on the Canadian Tour last year and led the third round here by three strokes, closed with a 2-over 74 for a winning 14-under 274 total in an event at The Hills golf course that was jointly sanctioned by the Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.
Gates lost his lead when he double bogeyed the par-3 16th and dropped back into a tie with Dodt at 14 under, but Dodt followed with a double bogey of his own on the par-5 17th and although he birdied the final hole, his closing 72 just wasn't enough..for golfers, there are golf clubs for sale which can help you catch up with these famous golfers.
Said Gates afterwards: "I didn't hit too many bad shots at all. I got some bad breaks, but then that's golf."I was fortunate in the first three rounds to get a lot of great ones (breaks). Andrew played an absolutely wonderful back nine."

Mr. Palmer replied, "Do you own a 3 iron?"
