Case Battery
macbook battery case is morphing cracking why?
for some reason my macbooks battery lid is morphing and cracking, I asume due to heat? why? I though it should have been built to handle the heat from the battery? my PC laptops never had this problem, how much does it cost to fix or replace it?
Most likely it is either due to overheating causing the fluids to expand, or else it has been damaged directly.
It is a very rare problem, not something specific to Apple. You will need to take it to an Apple store, it should be repaired under warranty, or free if it is outside of warranty (seeing as it is such a rare, but serious issue).
To the above answerer, get your facts straight, Apple do not have a higher rate of issues than other laptops. They are the 3rd most reliable laptops on the market for a reason. Stop hating on Apple, you clearly lack facts.
