Can I use an american express gift card to shop online?
If I spent my cash on an american express gift card or one of the likes could I use that to shop online, because my mom refuses to let me use her credit card because of high interest and fear of getting into debt.
You can use an American Express, Vanilla Visa, or Mastercard to shop online. First you must register the card online so that when you checkout you can enter the proper billing address. Then just shop like you would with a normal credit card.
Make sure you take into account any applicable taxes or shipping fees that you may incur with your purchase. You can not spend more then the amount on the card.
