Cabinet Bar
So, what do you stock in your "home bar"?
What are your "must haves" (like, a spare full one in the cabinet somewhere, cause you MUST NOT run out) and what are your "exception" bottles, that you have, because you use them every once in a while?
Base spirits:
Vodka
Gin
White rum
Dark rum
Bourbon
Scotch
Brandy
Also, be sure to have a good supply of juices, soda mixers and fresh fruit (lemons, limes, oranges). Olives certainly do not go astray. Don't forget Angostura bitters, tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and ice... lots of fresh, clean ice!
On top of that, choose what you please.

Can this be done with Silestone?
I am going to be redoing my kitchen, and want to add cabinets and matching countertops on one side of the kitchen to use as a breakfast bar and upper extra cabinet space. The problem is, there is baseboard heat on the wall where this will take place. Can the Silestone be mounted to the wall with "L" brackets as the support? (like a bookshelf bracket if this was the incorrect term) or is this insufficient support? I am looking to not install bottom cabinets if possible.
L-brackets may or may not support Silestone granite as it depends on the strength of the brackets and the material the wall is made of.
Silestone® weighs about 15 lbs per sf and may have an unsupported overhang of up to 12 inches. Granite and marble weigh about 18 lbs per sf and may have an unsupported overhang of 10 inches.
