Is it legal for a business owner to cut hours...?
Is it legal for a business owner to ONLY cut he hours of the employees that are making more than minimum wage and not cut the hours of the employee that is making minimum wage to save money? We're all doing he same job & the two employees that have seniority & are making more than minimum wage have had their hours cut drastically, while the person cheapest to employee hasnt been effected at all. Something doesnt seem right here. Its understandable that hours be cut if she cant afford to pay us, but shouldnt all of our hours be cut and not just those who make more money?
Yes, it is legal. Legal and "fair" (as you may define it) are not the same thing.
