Blue Yellow
Can anyone give me advise on decorating a light blue and yellow bathroom?
I will be moving soon. The bathroom at my new place is light blue and yellow. The walls are a pale yellow. (The landlady had already painted the walls before I viewed the place and may not open to repainting.) The wall tile is light blue and pale yellow.
I went shopping for a yellow shower curtain the other day, but to no avail. Also, apparently, light blue is not popular anymore. Please advise.
It depends on the feel you want the bath to end up with. With yellow a warm color and light blue depending on the hue generaly a cool color you need to decide if you want a warm or cool feel. Cool could be your better bet since it usually looks cleaner and it is a bathroom. With a cool scheme id use chrome and white with bits of brown perhaps. You could play up the blue instead going from white to dark blue keep the tone the same blue but darker, example dont go from gray blue to royal. A slash of maroon since it goes with both blue and yellow, again depending on the hue. If you go warm go for yellows and natual colors use wood and go for neutral accents. If both colors are pale play it up and find a small print with a window scene that has blues and yellows in it. Go to a paint department and it may help you see what colors go together . Good luck

Colour is very important in design, particularly in designing websites. many businesses use the web as a sales tool now and using the correct colours can lead to increased sales, but picking incorrect colours can lead to fewer users and fewer sales.
