Ok....... One night before bed you should really pamper your skin. Give your face a good wash, a wash thats designed for spot prone skin. Neutrogina do a fab one called 2 in 1 wash and mask. use daily as a wash and weekly as a mask.
Then exfoliate the skin with a gentle exfoliator.
Then give your face a good cleanse and then steam it. Steam for about 15 minute to open up all the pores. The relax with a warm flannel (not hot) on your face for 5 minutes. Then go and splash your face with cold water to close the pores, you dont want to let any more dirt in when youve just got it all out.
Then cleanse again.
Lotion with a light moisturiser, dont use something rich like body butter as it just irritates breakouts. leave butter for the body.
Then just before bed you should apply something like sudocrem. its designed for nappy rash and inflamed skin so works really well on breakouts and bad acne. It calms it down. Also e45 cream and savlon works great as they are skin healers and antiseptics.
Whichever you use, use generously and leave on overnight. wash off in the morning and wash, splash with cold water, cleanse and lotion again.
