Best Avon
Best way not to lose money selling Avon?
I am meeting with a consultant today to sell Avon. I have been reading up on tips on how to get out there to sell, but I am hearing a lot about losing money.
What tips do you have to no lose money and be successful? I know there is always risk but how can I minimize it?
I was an Avon rep for 8 months, and I wish I could say I reccomend it but I can't, you will not make a lot of money and probably end up losing it. They still expect you to pay up even if your customers don't give you the money for their goods, they're not sympathetic at all.
I knew someone who was mugged on her way home from her Avon round and they stole £85 off her. She contacted the police and Avon as soon as she could but Avon were unsympathetic, didn't even ask how she was or offer any kind of compassion, just bluntly told her that she needed to repay the £85 straight away, as is "their policy." Thanks a lot, know what I mean?
Anyway I never made much, even though I built up a good customer base. My tips would be to do "special offers" like say spend over £20 and receive a free perfume sample.
But honestly I wouldn't bother with it. You will lose more money then you make, believe me.
