whats the worst B&B you stayed in part 2?
me and the missus were in a ferry town in north west wales ready to go home back to ireland, destination rosslare. we stayed at this "hotel" that can be best described as putrid. it claimed to be fully licensed, that meant under the counter tins of beer and cider and bottles of rancid wine above. in the main enterance was a cockatiel in a class fronted cupboard. we booked in for a full bed and breakfast. while sitting in the guest lounge we noticed the landlady seemed to be knocking back the drink more than the guests and a bit unsteady on her feet. the bedroom itself had dolls and teddy bears and childrens books on display(we booked an adult double). and carpet was installed on the on-suite floor. i put my shoes on to go for a tinkle. next morning when we left the landlady asked "aint ya avin breakfast"? our reply "we'd love to but we've a ferry to catch" nice couple really but jesus it was a dump. whats your worst B&B?
LOL brilliant, the hubby & i took my stepsons, & our toddler away to pontins.... pics looked ok & we could've afforded a really nice place but thought th kids would enjoy it... Oh my life, i was 8mths pregnant at the time, our kids have routine etc. Everyone stayed up/out late, it stank of damp, the tiles were coming off in the bathroom, the carpets were just awful, the sofa the list is endless, we didnt do any of the eve entertainment as is was way to late for our 8pm routine kids, i left that place feeling dirty, p**ed off, & soooooo tired from all the noise. NEVER EVER again But at least its a lesson learned. (that was in north wales 2). We laugh about it now oh & my stepson arrived healthy, & left with ringworm!!!!!
