(inexperienced drinker) what drinks to order at pub? nightclub? how to ask..?
Im a non-drinker and everytime i hang out with my friends i feel like a idiot as I feel like im the only inexperienced non drinker and dont feel confident because going to a nighclub or pub/bar is out of my comfort zone. how do i ask for a drink? or what to drink... do i just say can i have a pint, half a pint of (beer name) ? or in a club do i say can i have a shot of smirnoff pls... or a bottle of corona? how do i word it.. lol, i feel so stupid asking this
Ask the bartender or server "What do you have on tap?". This refers to which beers they have available by the pint. Once they have rattled off the list, you can say "I'll have a pint of _____, please". If you'd like a bottle of beer, you can simply say "I'll have a Corona", or "I'll have a bottle of Corona". If you are standing at the bar, you may be able to see the taps behind the bar which have big flashy handles on them which have the names of the beers on them, so asking what is on tap may not be necessary.
As for shots and shooters, simply asking for exactly what you want is acceptable such as "I'll have 2 shots of tequila" or "I'll have a rum and coke".
Another trick is to ask the server "What do you reccomend?", or asking the bartender to "Surprise me!" if you're not familiar with the drinks offered or unsure what you want.

I am guilty of indecent exposure and possession of an offesive weapon?
