Beer Billards
Speaking of dating, ladies would you prefer..?
If a man approaches you, would you prefer an invite for a cup of coffee and a casual conversation, a walk in the park and perhaps lunch afterwards, a dinner date complete with movie and some expectations of romance, not meaning sex, but being romanced or courted , which means getting dressed up, and some fuss over it? Bowling and a hot dog? Pool or billards, depending on where you live? A baseball game, sitting in the sunshine, hot dog and beer? Or a casual how would like to meet me for a drink after work?
Low key, a buddy kind of date? Or the upper scale restaurant?
Blue jeans or black velvet if you plrease? Which would you be more likely to accept without reservations and feel good about ? What would be in your opinion the preferred first "date"?
Baseball would be a good invite for me, a trip into the country to see the salmon run and stop for lunch by the lake, walk in the autumn leaves - this would be a good ice breaker ?
1st date = Coffee & casual conversation. We have out door cafe's in town. I find sitting w/ a person & having a casual conversation while being surrounded by passer-bys is a good opportunity to learn about a person. They can seem nice in private, but watching how they comment about the public around you is a good personality clue.
2nd date - Table pool. Just b/c I like to play. I like a casual game & talking can be a part of the date. This game can show if someone takes competition WAY too serious. And depending on how the game goes, it also shows courtesy level. If my pool partner gives encouraging remarks on failed shots that is better than, "In your face! I got you now!"
I like first dates to learn about the person. Once I feel comfortable with their personality, then dates are about having a fun time.
That's how I did it in the past.
