Bear Paw Light
Was this written by a Atheist or a Christian?
One day a Atheist was walking through the woods,
he noticed all the lovely flowers and giant trees,
he noticed the bubbling brook and thought,
my what a lovely world I live in.
As he was walking he heard a noise coming from some bushes to the side of him.
When suddenly a grizzly crashes out of the bushes and starts running at him, he immediatally starts to run away from it,
He looks behind him and see's that it is right behind him,
He then trips over something in his path and as he's trying to regain his feet he notices that the bear is right there raising one front clawed foot to smack him with! He says Oh God, and everything stops, a light appears and the lord asks him why in his darkest hour a Atheist would say Oh God! Are you asking me to save you even though you do not believe in me? And the Atheist replies, No but could you make the bear a Christian!
God says DONE! The light goes out and the bear brings its paws together and thanks the Lord for the food that he provided!
I can explain this easily, because I've seen it tons of times:
This is a very, very bad attempt at REWORDING and fusing TWO DIFFERENT religion jokes in order to put the punchline in favor of Christians. As a result, it DOES NOT work as a joke.
The original joke however makes sense:
The ORIGINAL joke has a CHRISTIAN who gets attacked by a bear in the woods (or fending off a lion in the Roman days of the Coliseum), who then asks God to "fill this beast with the Christian spirit!" That's when the animals proceeds to kneel, clasp both paws and say "Bless us O Lord, for these gifts which we are about to receive..."
That makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?
The other joke is that an atheist was out fishing, sees the Lochness Monster, and cries out "Oh my God!" Then God appears and asks "Why in this darkest hour, do you suddenly believe in me?" The atheist says "Oh give me a break. 5 seconds ago I didn't believe in the Lochness Monster either!"
But no, some holy roller thought he'd be smart by combining and changing these two jokes to make an atheist the butt of the punch line. It does NOT work. Not that there aren't any good atheist jokes, but this is clearly not one of them.
I don't care what religion you are, even if it's a joke that makes fun of MY beliefs or ethnicity. But a poorly constructed joke is a poorly constructed joke.

Yes, they would get dirtier faster. You could buy some Ugg cleaner though for that. But, personally I like the darker ones better anyway. I see alot of people wearing the light color, so the dark ones are more unique.
