Does anyone know what happened to Serranos Market in National City?
I have been going to Serranos Market on E. 18th Street in National City for over 20 years - they have the best marinated carne asada and polla asada I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, when I went to the market last week to get some meat for a bbq I found that they were closed up - lock, stock and barrel - and there were no notices or signs indicating whether they were closed for good - or had just relocated. If anyone knows what happened to this great place I'd love to know. It's hard to believe that they would just shut down cold after so many years...sigh. Anyway - thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!

This is the Singapore eating guide to the best American restaurants available. The local palette has been expanding since the restaurant boom in Singapore since the late 1980's and the early 1990's.
