GUYS- what are you most likely buy at a local art shop?
if you were to seek out or venture into a local shop one day that sells homemade good from local artist WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO PURCHASE?
examples:
wrist bands?
necklace?
bag?
scarves ?
stenciled tees?
wallets ?
illastrated picture?
note book?
*what would you buy or be looking for?
I do not actually look for anything in these places. If I was at such a place I might consider buying a mobile sculpture, a print, a postcard or greeting card if blank inside or a well made clock. I would be interested in a coffee mug but it would have to be the ceramic that retains heat as there are types that cool off very quickly to avoid. I might also buy a rustic looking birdhouse or bird feeder, maybe a small treehouse looking thing that you would stab into the dirt of a large potted plant, No Soliciting or Beware of Dog signs.
I would not buy any clothing or articles that you wear around. Artistic wallets, especially, are always hokey and never well-designed... generally anything would need to be clean and functionally well-designed. Any adornments, whether 2D or 3D, just get in the way.

Top Reasons Why you Should Shop Online for Art
So you’re finally ready to buy some art to decorate the walls of your new home. You have some vague idea of the kind of art that would fit in with the décor of your home. But you have a problem. You’ll be able to see in an instant if the art pieces displayed will fit in nicely with the theme of your home. This is a significant advantage over buying art from a retail store, where many a times you will be disappointed because the art piece looked great in the store, but didn’t fit in with your home when you brought it back.
