Okay, now that I have you reading this, could you please answer another question? So I want one of those suitcases that are kind of antique I guess. You know, how people put stickers all over them from where they have been? They are kind of boxy. I want one of those, but not a used one. If you do not know what kind of suitcase I am talking about, please refer to this picture.

The Changing times in Photography
Many years ago photography was an art form that went through a technical process. It was a lengthy procedure requiring the subjects to sit perfectly still and timing the exposure. Photographs were developed in dark rooms and coloured by hand.
Although this seems very antiquated much of it relates to today’s photography. Technology means that the timing is automatic, and although there are times when the subject has to be still it is no longer necessary. Photographs are not coloured by hand but can be airbrushed by computer.
Not so long ago we were still loading film into our cameras, a process that had to be done in a darkened place so as not to expose the film. More recently we used the cartridge type of 35mm film which was much easier to load into your camera.
Now with the new digital Digital Photography Cameras taking photographs is so much easier. Technology means that we no longer need a film in our camera. All our photos are stored on memory cards that we can download to our computers. We can play around with our photos using software on our computers. We can store our photos either on our PC, or, if you take a lot of photos, on an external hard drive.
The new age of Digital Photography Cameras has also changed the way we take photos. The compact digital cameras fit neatly into your pocket or handbag so you can always take it with you. Because you can’t run out of film you can take loads of shots and sort them out later when you download them. Editing them couldn’t be easier. You can print the ones you want on your home PC printer, or even better, download them to a digital photo frame.
And maybe because using a compact digital camera is so easy, it spurs on an interest in photography. More people are turning to the Digital SLR Cameras to get better quality, professional looking photographs. The SLRs give you the option of interchangeable lenses that are suited to the type of photographs you take. So, although the technology has changed, the digital photography of today is still most definitely an art form. The only real difference is that it has become available to a lot more people and that must be a good thing.
