What region of the world makes the best beer? Support your answer!!?
I have tried beer the world over, but the BEST BEER IN THE WORLD is made in Colorado, USA. The German stuff is ok, the Belgian is a little better. Anything from Texas sucks, and the Oregon beers are ok. Too few good ones, and their best isn't as good as Colorado's best. new Belgium Fat Tire, Odell's Easy Street Wheat, Flying Dog Doggie Style and Gonzo Porter, Breckenridge Avalance Ale or Oatmeal Stout...so many good ones. No, Coors is not on the good list. It is better than Bud, but so is race-horse piss.
Belgium, for his reason; every beer you've ever tried, was first made, and perfected, in Belgium. I've spent alot of time trying beers in Colorado and elsewhere, and they do a lovely job of it, but they are only trying to copy the originals. Little Belgium has over 450 different beers to choose from. While America has a seemingly infinite variety, the microbrew phenonomena that spawned them all has only been going strong for 20 or 30 years. They have been experimenting and refining the technique and ingredients in Belgium for centuries, and take it very seriously. If you think Denver beer is better, it is only because you haven't tasted a fraction of what Belgium has to offer.
